Meet the Family Behind Big Sur Pool

Big Sur Pool Co. was founded on a simple belief: every family deserves a backyard built with the same level of care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail as the home itself.


As a local, family-owned company serving San Antonio, Bulverde, Spring Branch, New Braunfels, Fair Oaks Ranch, Boerne, and surrounding communities since 2018, we take a different approach than many builders. We believe in quality over quantity, which means every project receives personal owner involvement from design through completion.


My journey into the pool industry began after spending more than 25 years in the custom home building industry. Time after time, homeowners building beautiful custom homes would either bring in their own pool builder or ask us for pool builder recommendations. After seeing the finished products behind many of these incredible homes, I realized there was an opportunity to raise the standard for quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.


Determined to do things differently, I invested in & learned the industry-leading, professional pool design software, immersed myself in the construction side of the industry, and committed to learning every aspect of building exceptional swimming pools & outdoor living spaces. What started as a passion for creating better backyard experiences has grown into Big Sur Pool Co.


Today, we specialize in custom swimming pools, spas, outdoor kitchens, and outdoor living spaces designed specifically for the families who will enjoy them for years to come. Every design includes advanced 3D and AI visual presentations, allowing homeowners to truly experience their backyard before construction ever begins.


We’re not interested in being the biggest builder in town. We’re focused on being the builder that delivers an exceptional experience, superior craftsmanship, and a finished product we’re proud to put our name on.
